What is love?

Digressing a little from my project work…
My new work place at home!
I have one too many backaches from drawing plans after plans, and hence I told my Daddy to make me this so that I don’t have to slouch all the time. The spaces below can be used to put all my plans and drawing materials so that I have more space for drawing.
:D
Men loves 3 things:
Women
Boozes
Money
Men wants 3 things:
Status
Career
Sex
Women loves 3 things:
Shoes
Bags
Clothes
Women wants 3 things:
Diamonds
Clothes
Love
To sum it up, men wants intangible assets while women goes for “the-more-the-merrier”.

The power of fake lashies: Your face will never look empty with it.
I hate the rain, seriously.
Yesterday went to meet up Jason for lunch after my school. Ellen told me, “It think you better take off your shoes and walk barefooted. It’s no use having a pair of wet shoes with wet feet.”
Ya true. So I took off my shoes and walked to NUS canteen with Jason.
But one can’t escape her destiny if bad things were to happen. After my lunch, the rain started pouring and I was completely soaked to the skin when I got to the bus stop. Awesome.
But thank god I intended to bathe the second round before going out to meet Peng for -ing by TTP.
Andandand, all sis’s shoes that I often wore out were damaged on the same day! How unlucky is that? So I had to wear one of her very-painful-but-pretty shoes out. Need new shoes badly.
Tonight I’m going out to a dinner with my family, and then heading over to Vivocity to help out my lect for some event decoration (I think so. Not sure what I’m supposed to do. I’m only very sure that I’m earning some CCA points.)
Happy 19th Birthday Ulric! Thanks for being one of the few who text me at 0000 hours every year on my birthday. (:
Because my internet connection is BACK.
Because I’ve not been angry for many many days!
Because I’m enjoying what I’m doing, and found great satisfaction when I finished my work!
Because I’m learning to love life ((:

Today I realised that my classmates at my GEMS lesson were mostly year one students. It didn’t occurred to me that they were my juniors until one of the classmates exclaimed that she’s 17 this year during a group work:
Classmate: I’m 17 years old this year!
Me: 17? Oh, your birthday is not here yet?
Classmate: No, it just passed.
Me: So you should be 18 this year!
Classmate: No, I’m 17. I’m from an express class.
Me: I’m express class too… Oh, you’re Year One?
The rest: We are all year one. You are year 2 right? From the way you dress and stuffs tells us that you’re a year 2 student.
Right. I thought I looked almost the same as the others over there. Apparently I’m not. o.o
It is important to have a close friend who is not in your class or working area.
Someone who is willing to lend a listening ear and doesn’t mind you talking non stop about problems you met in school or work. This person cares and is willing to listen to you talk about conflicts you had with someone else he doesn’t even knows. He can be trusted and most likely have no one else to spread the secrets to. He knows you from head to toe, and can be your most reliable “personality test”.
The most important thing is that your path doesn’t cross with his, and this is what that keeps the friendship alive.
I have a friend like that, I know.
Do you?
Yesterday I went to the Clean and Green 2010 Launch Carnival with Pengers.

Grabbed from fb
There were many organisations participating and qutie a number of game counters such as the Spinning Wheel, Golf, Throw-the-can-into-the-bins. Thought it was quite a failure as many uncles and aunties went there to grab freebies from the game booths. I don’t think they even know how to save electricity from all the games they played.

After that we went on a guided tour by one of the NEA staffs telling us on how Singapore solve environmental issues over the years. This part was enlightening though, but could be better if there’s tour sessions in chinese for our dear ah gongs and ah mas who don’t understand English.

During the tour, I saw one of my ex-colleague Jason. Treated him and Peng to a pineapple flavoured fruit ice. Tastes like sorbet, with coconut taste inside as well.
After that we went to Vivocity and had lunch at the yummeh SUPERDOG. It’s been awhile since I ate that!
Afterwards we went to PageOne as part of our planned schedule. I bought a memo cube, glue, paperclips and a freaking expensive magazine (15 bucks) on Architecture, Design and Sustainablity. Have yet to read it. Shall do it later.
In the night time we went to catch a mandarin play at NAFA. The play title was called “Our Town”. It was about the lives of the people living in a small town, and how they dealt with issues such as love, marriage and deaths. It was portrayed by NAFA’s Year 3 students of the Mandarin Drama.
Year 3 Mandarin Drama students present “Our Town” by Thornton Wilder. Fresh young director, Luo Yu, our guest from the Central Academy of Drama in Beijing, China, recreates this much loved modern classic, in which she once played the leading role. Our Town was introduced and narrated by the Stage Manager, who welcomes the audience to the fictional town of Grover’s Corner, New Hampshire, early on a May morning in 1901. The play defies most conventional theatrical genres. It is neither a comedy nor a tragedy, neither a romance nor a farce. It is, rather, a contemplative work concerning the human experience.
Off to buy lunch now. BYE! (:
My favorite day of the year is tomorrow!
Even though I’m not going anywhere tomorrow but it is still my favorite day!
And I made a new banner with this photo:

Happy Halloween!
(PS: Went missing because there isn’t really much to update about.
